Take your own body measurements. Built-in slot on side of case secures tape for accurate measuring. Top quality retracting mechanism and reinforced polyester tape. Metric & inches printed on both sides.
Instructions:
1.Extend tape and wrap around area to be measured. 2.Secure tape in slot on side of case. 3.Push retracting button to tighten tape - take measurement. NOTE - The curved design of the case compensates for the 1 inch of tape measure that is secured in the slot during measuring.

Hems - 1/4 to 4" on a straight edge and 1/4 to 2-1/2" on a curved edge. Pockets, Pattern Alterations, Belt & Waistbands-turn and press edges. Patches & Appliques - turn and press edges before stitching in place. TIPS - Use with a steam iron. Always test fabric sample for proper heat and moisture. Protect fabrics that water spot with a Dritz Vue Thru Press Cloth. CAUTION - Ezy Hem Gauge may be hot while pressing. Attach a quilter's ruler handle to gauge for easy handling. Instructions:Press all hems from the fold up. This eliminates ridge marks on the right side of the fabric. STRAIGHT HEMS - Turn up fabric along hem line, insert Ezy-Hem Gauge and press. Move gauge along hem line and continue pressing. CURVED HEMS - To ease hems, stitch 1/4" from raw edge, using a basting stitch. Turn up fabric along hem line, insert Ezy-Hem Gauge. Using a pin, pull up stitches every few inches until hem lies flat, press.
