For attaching #5 heavy duty snaps and #105 western snaps.
Instructions:
Test on swatch of fabric. Use two layers of medium to heavy weight fabric - reinforced with interfacing. Work on firm - protected surface.1. Mark position of snaps on topside and underside of garment. Cut small hole at mark with scissors.(A) 2.FOR CAP & SOCKET(A) a. On topside - push post of cap through hole in fabric from right to wrong side. Place cap in smooth side of anvil. b. Position socket - bowl side up - over cap post. c. Insert metal tool into post. Hammer several times until cap and socket are tight. FOR POST & STUD (B) a. On underside - push post through hole in fabric from wrong to right side. Place post in raised center side of anvil. b. Position stud - raised side up - over post. c. Insert metal tool into post. Hammer several times until stud and post are tight. For reversible snaps -substitute a second cap for post when applying stud.

Instructions:
Mark position for rivets on fabric. Rivet tools(A & B) and parts ( a & b) fit together. TIP - If the area for the snap application cannot be reached, cut Tool D in half. Punch hole in fabric. a.Insert Tool C into Tool D. b.Place Pad E under mark, align Tool C over mark and strike with hammer. Attach rivets: a.Insert tools (A & B) into Tool D. b.Place rivets (a & b) into appropriate tools ( A & B). c.Insert rivet stud (b) into hole in fabric. d. Lower tool D and use hammer to apply.

Use CS OSBORNE K229-24 Snap Fastener kit to set the snaps.

Kit includes 4 Heavy Duty Snaps - 5/8". Applies heavy duty snaps - #5 and #105. Instructions:Test on swatch of fabric. Use two layers of medium to heavy weight fabric reinforced with interfacing.Mark position of snaps on topside and underside of garment. CAP & SOCKET-Lift plastic platform and turn until smooth side snaps into place. Insert socket (bowl side in) into rubber adaptor on metal punch. Slide cap into smooth side of plastic platform. Position topside of garment in pliers with cap on the outside of garment. Center over mark. Squeeze pliers firmly. Check for tightness, squeeze again if necessary. POST & STUD- insert red adaptor in rubber adaptor on metal punch. Lift plastic platform and turn until raised center side snaps into place. Insert stud (rim side out) into red adaptor on metal punch. Slide post over raised center and into plastic platform. Position underside of garment in pliers with post on the wrong side of garment. Center over mark. Squeeze pliers firmly. Check for tightness, squeeze again if necessary. For reversible snaps, substitute a second cap for post when applying stud.
